The intermediate lightweight sheet piling MSZ17-406 can be used to prevent erosion to protect shores. When personnel work or pass under a scaffold, a screen or mesh or the equivalent shall be provided between the toe board and top MSZ17-375 rail. For normal freshwater applications, components are supplied as galvanized steel or ALUMINIZED STEEL Type 2 stringers and spacers as specified.The Z type cold formed sheet pile MSZ17-312 MSZ17-340 shall be designed to support four times the rated MSZ17-350 load.As a minimum, an impermeable cap shall be placed on the face of the slope and a continuous coping/gutter which is keyed into the slope shall be constructed at the toe of slope/top of wall.
Erection of the relatively lightweight steel bins can be MSZ17-350 completed off site and then lifted into place. Or, assembly can be performed on site, without requiring heavy equipment. Installation methods are many and MSZ17-340 varied and are open to the contractor's skill and imagination where difficult or restrictive installation conditions need to be overcome.The Mega Zee 17 steel sheet piling shall not be less than MSZ17-375 and MSZ17-406 made of ¾- inch plywood equivalent to American Plywood Association Grade B-B, Group I, exterior or similar material. The two supporting MSZ17-312 bearers shall be 2"x 4" or 1"x10" rough selected lumber or better.
