HZ HZM combined wall systems are combi-wall of king piles and intermediary sheet piling, which are normally used in port construction and deep foundations etc. The HZ HZM king piles are formed its shape in mills in length of over 30 meters. HZ HZM combiwall are connector by different connectors, namely RZD16, RZU16, RH16, RZD18, RZU18, RH20. Hot rolled HZ HZM king piles are big H beams with connecting system at both sides. Cold rolled HZ HZM combined walls are welded H beams together with cold formed sheet piles. HZ HZM combi-wall are normally quay wall tied back by a deadman wall or normal sheet piling wall.We have produced and shipped HZ combined walls to many sheet piling projects all over the world

 

Our Advantages:

Ø We can design and tailor made HZ sheet piling for you. In lots of cases, client might need to increase the thickness of flange or web due to corrosion, a smaller height due to limited space, all no problem here.
Ø Our interlocks or clutches are part of H beams, much stronger. No need to buy extra interlocks, saving costs for the  HZ combiwalls.
Ø The longest length H pile and HP bearing pile we have produced is over 50m,steel grade from S235 S355 to very high S460
Ø Almost no quantity requirements,100 or 200 tons are also okay. We have three HZM combined walls production lines, everything will be done automatically. Quick delivery time.

HZ combiwall

A HZ/HZM combined wall system consists of the king pile, connectors, and AZ sheet piling installed between king piles are intermediate infill elements. The HZ/HZM beams can be single H beam or double H beams or even continuous H beams. The HZ/HZM king piles can be retaining wall elements, which resist horizontal loads or bearing piles, which resist vertical loads. While the intermediate sheet piles normally only resist the earth retaining functions or load transfer to the HZ/HZM king piles. The intermediate sheet piles can be shorter than HZ/HZM beams. Depending on the number of interlocks and king piles, HZ combined wall system have 4 different combinations: Combination 12, combination 14, combination 24, combination 26.In theory, the intermediate pile can be any AZ type sheet piles. While in practices, most intermediate sheet pile is AZ18-700 or AZ26-700,others like AZ13, AZ13-10/10, AZ18, AZ18-10/10,AZ26,AZ13-770, AZ14-770-10/10, AZ18-700, A20-700.The connectors are RZD,RZU,RH type depending on connecting elements.

Previously HZ sheet piles was the most popular solutions for permanent ports, quay wall, cofferdam, slope stabilization, wharf contstuctions etc heavy load applications, Nowadays almost all HZ combined walls are HZM sheet pile system.

The  combined walls or combiwalls are normally a more economical solutions than sheet pile with tubular pipe combined walls. Various steel grades are available for combi walls and king piles.
