Steel sheet piles
We are a specialist in the installation of steel sheet piles. We have a large stock of sheet piles, in both light and very heavy sections, in all required lengths. Steel sheet piling has many applications.
We supplie and installs vibratory-driven sheet piles for both permanent structures and temporary retaining walls or construction pits. The possible applications vary greatly, depending on whether the work will take place on land, on the water or along a railroad. Examples are the vibratory-driven or press-in installation of sheet piles for basements and parking garages in poorly accessible areas in inner cities and within/between existing structures.
For applications in inner cities the vibration-free technique is often preferable. The press-in sheet piling installation method utilized vibration-free and produces little noise. The method is therefore suitable for use in projects with demanding requirements and low permissible values for vibration and noise emissions. Projects of this type include those carried out in old city centers with historical buildings or near hospitals or sensitive computer facilities.
Concrete sheet piles
We can help you with concrete sheet piles, too.
Concrete sheet piling has been used for revetment walls along canals for almost a century. A revetment made of concrete sheet piles is a very durable construction and requires little maintenance. A disadvantage, however, is that damage is difficult and costly to repair.
Today concrete sheet piling is also used to support vertical loads. This makes these elements suitable for foundations under constructions such as bridge abutments. We drive the concrete sheet piles to the required depth with either vibratory or impact drivers. Fluidization techniques can be used if necessary.
